Visitors: Chad Kauffman with two other birders. Lots of people enjoying the view throughout the day.
Weather: Mild with moderate SE winds -- steadily increasing throughout the day.
Raptor Observations: Several local Bald Egles, Turkey Vultures, and Redtails. Some of the Retail's were occasionally harassed by ravens. Two Harriers and a Kestrel flew south over the lookout, not migrating. Pretty nice diversity of raptors today, but most were moderately high. Undoubtedly we missed even higher birds. The currents above the mountain were strong with many of the Broadwings flying NE along the ridge sideways. Four horses with multiple riders also came up the trail from he base of the mountain.
