Hi:This nest appeared on our driveway this morning. I doubt the wind blew it down. Maybe a squirrel knocked it down while eating eggs. No sign of eggs in or near the downed nest. Lots of grasses in structure. Original tight bottom bowl was brownish and maybe 2.5 inches in diameter. Nearby tree a 10 foot Chinese maple.
Any speculation on who made it??
1/2 mile north Alamo Safeway east side Danville Blvd.
