So I’m out on the loop trail around Spectacle Swamp this morning, keeping
an eBird list and running Merlin BirdID in the background.
I pause to record a batch of birds (including Towhee and Raven) when my
stomach, digesting breakfast, growls audibly.
Up pops a Merlin alert: “Rock Pigeon”
