Other migrating raptors include 1 SSHA and 1 TUVU.
There was a quick burst of activity at 14:26 when a GOEA and an unknown hawk, possibly a BWHA, came through at the same time. 3 local BAEAs were also soaring at the same time. The GOEA was soaring high and difficult to age. Otherwise a slow day despite good conditions.
COLO migration seems to be picking up with 37 spotted today between 09:00-11:00, a high count for the season so far. Tomorrow should yield even higher numbers.
PISIs continue to come through with at least 3 flyovers being heard today. Otherwise the only other flyover was a TRES.
Predictions: Mostly sunny with moderate S winds. Tomorrow should be a better day as today's good conditions will have brought raptors closer to us. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Thomas Filip () Tussey Mountain Hawk Watch information may be found at: tusseymountainspringhawkwatch.org/
