Subject: [ia-bird] Wright County
Trumpeter swans seemed to be on every wetland I visited this afternoon. The
most were 9 just east of Morse Lake in Wright County. An Eared Grebe was
seen at Morse Lake. Large number of ducks were in the air due to 2 Bald
Eagles and a Northern Harrier at the Lower Morse Lake WMA. Rolling Acres
Potholes were inaccessible due to muddy conditions on the Level b roads.
Northern Flickers appeared in good numbers throughout the area. Nice
numbers of most puddle ducks were also present. Finally at Lake Cornelia
there were approximately 75 Snow Geese, about half white and half blue.

Good birding
