Birders, We had our 1st BTHU of the year today. Our feeder was already out thanks to the postings on Cobirds of Hummers returning. On a different note, I'm suspecting that other birders with feeders may be experiencing the dearth of birds, of any shape or kind, around their yards and feeders. We have no one visiting our feeders. I put oil sunflower in the hanging tray and it hasn't been touched. It's always empty in 1 or 2 days, but right now it hasn't been touched. Not even Scrub Jays. The only birds singing around here are Spotted Towhee, Robin, and House Finch. Tammy saw a Say's Phoebe today. That's it. Dead. I hope everyone else is doing better than we are.
