Date: 4/4/26 10:34 am From: 'Paul Peterson' via Boston Birds <bostonbirds...> Subject: [BostonBirds] 4/3 Burrage Pond Short-eared Owl and Sandhill Cranes, etc.
I birded here from 12:30-5:20, with the cloudy day turning into a sunny, lovely day. Within eighty minutes upon arrival, I had a Short-eared Owl, Six Sandhill Cranes, and an American Kestrel. That's when I knew it was going to be a great day. I was overwhelmingly within the town of Hanson, but I did a little of Halifax as well. I entered from the Hawkes Ave. entrance.
