Bolgiano, Tom FilipWeather:After overnight and morning rain, there was
thick fog along the ridge before the watch began. Wind SSW/S, mostly 4-10
mph, partly cloudy. Low of 18.3℃ and a high of 22.7℃.Raptor Observations:1
GOEA spotted today.*
*juvenile: 13:18*

*Other migrating raptors include 7 OSPR, 1 BAEA, 9 RTHA, 1 RSHA, 5 BWHA, 21
SSHA, 1 COHA, 6 NOHA, 13 TUVU, and 4 AMKE.*

*A great half day due to fog in the morning, the S winds undoubtedly
helped. **Our first GOEA of April was a blink and you miss it moment. A
juvenile, it came through quickly close and low to the ridge, giving Nick
and I a brief but satisfying look. **7 OSPR, 21 SSHA, and 6 NOHA were all
high counts for the season. The RSHA was the first we have seen since March
15. Our first BWHAs of the season were seen today, 3 of which came through
at the same time with a kettle of TUVU. Hopefully a good sign for things to
come in the next couple of weeks.*

*We had a distant but long look at 3 SACR flying SE on the south side of
the ridge. 6 COLO and 5 RBGU were seen in the afternoon.*

*Relatively few passerine flyovers, probably due to starting in the
afternoon, but a decent variety nonetheless with 5 TRES, 1 HOFI, 2 PUFI, 7
AGOL, and 1 PISI.Predictions:Uncertain as the forecast has been changing
frequently and varies greatly but tomorrow may be mostly rain or just
scattered rain showers. Low to moderate S/SSE winds. If there is a long
enough break in the rain there could be some decent
movement.------------------------------Report submitted by Thomas Filip
