Subject: [Ohio-birds] Black-necked Stilt Clark County
Dan Kempf found a Black-necked Stilt at Buck Creek State Park near Springfield, Clark County this morning around 10:00.
It was at the north end of the reservoir at the Northeast access off of Grant Rd. This is just south of Moorefield Road.
It was still there when I left just before 11:00 and a few birders including Dan were keeping an eye on it.
It was on a mud bar just to the right of the island straight out from the access.
There are still 13 Am white Pelicans and 5 Greater White-fronted geese there and several other duck species.
