Subject: [ia-bird] Louisiana Waterthrush and Woodcock at Ledges State Park, Boone County
This morning before sunrise I had an American Woodcock at the Upper Ledges
a short way past the main entry and soon after a Louisiana Waterthrush
calling loudly at the first parking lot as you enter the canyon. Also there
were Purple Finch, Pileated Woodpeckers and Tufted Titmouse. Many expected
species.
