Official Counter: Thomas Filip

Observers: Nick Bolgiano

Weather:
Mostly cloudy and S wind in the morning, later mostly sunny and SSW winds
in the afternoon, generally at 6-10mph throughout the day. It warmed up
quickly from 6.0℃ in the morning to 30.2℃ in the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
No GOEA spotted today.

Other migrating raptors include 2 OSPR, 3 BAEA, 10 RTHA, 1 SSHA, 1 COHA, 31
TUVU, and 2 AMKE. The morning was rather slow with just a few raptors
before noon. Raptor activity picked up after the clouds cleared around
13:00 with a short surge in activity between 15:00-16:00. TUVU activity
seems to be picking up. 31 is the high count of the season so far.

Non-raptor Observations:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S314534812

A single COME flew over the ridge in the morning and at the end of the day
8 distant RBGU were seen. Passerine activity was low today with just 1 TRES
and 1 AGOL flyover.

Predictions:
Mostly cloudy the whole day with low SW winds in the morning shifting to
moderate SSW in the afternoon. Tomorrow may be a slow day unless the clouds
clear. The afternoon will probably be our best chance at seeing any
raptors.
