Subject: Sunday at Hi Lonesome
As far as birds go, today was almost a bust. It was perhaps because of the
considerable windiness. I heard 3 Eastern Meadowlarks; saw one Wild Turkey
running across a field close to Lumpee Avenue; and saw one flying Swallow,
species unknown.
It was a good looking day except for the wind. The fields that were burned
in the Fall are looking like spring is definitely here even though not
fully developed.

Happy Birding!
