Visitors: Julie Leaonard and manned the hawk watch today. Doug Massey stopped for a visit along with another person who wanted to tell us about the vultures he had seen flyover.
Weather: Mostly clear with SW wind early then the lake breeze kicking in between the 0900 and 1000 hour period.
Raptor Observations: A fairly steady vulture flight along the lake and then the flight shifting inland and gaining altitude when the winds started coming in off the lake. Surprisingly almost no hawks!
Non-raptor Observations: Common Loon 1, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, Herring Gull, American Robin, House Sparrow 1, Double-crested Cormorant 8, Hooded Merganser 1
