Subject: Burrowing Owl 3/28
Margie & I saw the Burrowing Owl this evening (Saturday, 3/28). Margie
spotted the bird on the gate at 6:35 pm while we were west bound on Dade
County 162. We watched for about 30 minutes, then drove past the owl,
which stayed in place, and went down to England Pond. After birding the
pond for a bit, we turned around and headed east on 162. The owl was still
there, just moved south ten yards or so and was perched on the north/south
barb wire fence. That was at 7:35 pm.
