Raptor Observations:
Nice flight today in the northwesterly winds. Ten raptor species.
Ospreys and American Kestrels besides Turkey Vultures. Local or
migrant Ospreys always in the air. Local courting Cooper's Hawk.

Non-raptor Observations:
Barred Owl calling; 160 Bonaparte's Gulls; Great Egret

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
