Hi all, we were recently on the road from hiway 14 up to the turn off to Butterbredt. It is in poor condition. Down at the bottom where the first switchbacks begin there are two areas with two foot wide, four feet deep, ten feet long crevices. They are not marked. We were able to drive around in a Subaru Crosstrek. There are numerous other washes and deep ruts across the road. Perhaps Kern Roads will fix this, or perhaps not. Either way, it will a slower drive in, and probably not accessible for cars. Susan
