Today I stopped at the pond at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines around 2 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. There were two Buffleheads diving in the center of the pond (there have been as many as five in the past week, a mix of males and females). Today there was a female Common Goldeneye associating with the Buffleheads and diving as well. There were also a few Mallards and Canadas, but I didn't bother to count them.
