Official Counter: Thomas Filip

Observers: Brian Hirt, Charlie Kahle, Nick Bolgiano

Weather:
Sunny throughout the day. A little chilly in the morning with a low of
-1.4℃ but it warmed up quickly with a high of 15.5℃. NW winds
the whole morning shifting to SW in the afternoon. Wind speed was generally
a low 2-5mph throughout the day with a few somewhat stronger gusts up to
8mph.

Raptor Observations:
1 GOEA spotted today.
adult: 15:22

Today was slow and spotting was difficult as the few raptors we saw were
high and distant. Thankfully 1 GOEA took pity on us and flew through lower
over the ridge at the end of the day giving us some nice looks as it
soared.

Other migrating raptors include 2 RTHA, 1 OSPR, and 3 TUVU.

Non-raptor Observations:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S312846256

A quiet day for passerines with just 1 AGOL flyover and a few local birds.

Predictions:
Low SSE/SE wind in the morning shifting to moderate S winds in the
afternoon, mostly cloudy throughout the day. S winds are typically good so
as long as the wind speed is decent we should see some GOEA and other
raptors tomorrow.
