Weather: Mostly clear early then becoming variably cloudy. Mostly west wind with a switch to the SW briefly then to the WNW for the remainder of the day. It never got above 40 F.
Raptor Observations: At 0820 AM many vultures lifted off to the west of us, so there was a movement of over 160 birds in just a few minutes. The flight was fairly steady until around mid-day when birds drifted south and the flight shut down along the lake. The hawk flight was rather light, and most came through very high.
Non-raptor Observations: Cedar Waxwing 25, American Robin, American Crow, Common Grackle, Red-winged Blackbird, European Starling, Northern Flicker, and Pileated Woodpecker.
Predictions: Cloudy and warmer with SSE wind. Could be a good day, if the winds hold up.
