For me and the big year! Pine warbler, thrasher, wood duck, and lesser yellowlegs.
Theres a nicely flooded field near lost bridge - shorebirds! I hope it stays flooded as not
Much shorebird habitat down here at present. Pine warblers singing away at Mitchell memorial
Forest. Nice to compare with chippies. Usually not an id issue heard only. But I did have
One of them singing an in between song. I never could track that one down, oh well!
No snipe again. I have given up on vesper until April. I have chased that clear creek
One many times…… and failed. Frustrating.
A beautiful morning! And I had a dragonfly. Only I could not get on it well.
Northern leopard frogs and wood frogs have joined the peeper chorus.
Good birding all.
