Subject: [ia-bird] More Golden Eagles in Blackhawk co.
Today I had another GOLDEN EAGLE, just outside Washburn, off highway 218.
This was an immature bird showing white tail band with black terminal band.
Yesterday, I had the best look at an adult while driving home, right over
my car on my street in perfect lighting. I could see the Golden nape, two
tone to underwing, and buffy undertail coverts.
So far, this has been a phenomenal year for Golden Eagles in Blackhawk co.!
This is the 8th one I've recorded this year! There have also been also
been a few other reports from other birders, here.

Waterloo
