Free Nature Presentation - The American Woodcock This Sunday, March 15th at 6:00pm
A sure sign that spring is coming is the return of the American woodcock to Connecticut. Join naturalist Patricia Laudano for a presentation on one of the most unique shrubland birds to breed along our coast. A Powerpoint show on the bird's natural history and behavior is followed by a walk along the trails at dusk in an attempt to witness their dazzling courtship flight!
