Great list! We lost the approximate 40 Purple Finch we were getting and they were replaced by 100-200 American Goldfinch. One day I estimated 300.
Greg has to fill several feeders twice a day.
Juncos went from about 70-100 to 3 or 4.
Quite a turnover.
All numbers go into Project Feederwatch.

Due to the recent bizarrely warm weather and lack of snow there hasn’t been much bird activity in the yard except for normal woodpeckers, chickadees, cardinals, etc. But juncos and other winter sparrows are still around and will be for awhile yet. However, the last 1.5 hours of recent days have produced the following species: winter wren, bald eagle, eastern bluebirds, northern mockingbird, killdeer, wood ducks, woodcocks, and lots of northbound Canada geese.
