The following came to the COA contact email and may interest those in the North Haven area. It sounds like an interesting habitat.
Brick Yard Point in North Haven is preparing to open for the 2026 season.
Brick Yard Point will be open to the public (age 12 and above) one Saturday per month from April through October. Visitors are welcome to register up to 60 days in advance for a two-hour appointment to walk the trails and view the restored habitat. Registration can be made by visiting www.BrickYardPoint.org <http://www.brickyardpoint.org/>.
In addition, community groups, clubs, non-profits, and school groups (age 12 and above) are invited to reserve a private 2-hour appointment outside of the public reservation schedule. To arrange a group appointment, organizations are asked to call 888-507-5737. This information is also available on the Brick Yard Point website.
Be sure to explore the Brick Yard Point website, www.BrickYardPoint.org <http://www.brickyardpoint.org/>, to learn about the habitat restoration, birds and wildlife, plant species, and more.
We look forward to welcoming visitors for another season.
