SW winds and partly sunny in the afternoon with WNW winds. Generally low
4-7mph winds today with occasional moderate 8-12mph winds.Raptor
Observations:4 GOEA spotted today.*
*3 adult 10:22, 14:04, 15:58*
*1 unknown 12:14*

*Our first GOEA of the day came through at 10:22 on the S side. At 12:14 we
spotted probably the highest GOEA we have had this season flying over the
ridge before it left the ridge and flew N over the valley. Our next GOEA at
14:04 was lower and exhibited the same behavior. Our last GOEA of the day
at 14:58, spotted by Jon, was on the S side and surprisingly low compared
to the earlier ones.*

*Other migrating raptors include 5 BAEA, 2 RTHA, 4 RSHA, 2 SSHA, 2 TUVU,
and 1 AMKE. *

*We also had 2 resident COHA today, a female performing a flight display a
few times and a male hunting and later seen with the female flying over the
ridge.Non-raptor Observations:https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Febird.org%2Fchecklist%2FS308144342&data=05%7C02%<7Cscbirdcl...>%7Ce8fcc18376f9466383fc08de7f0bce60%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C639087885872848982%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=U3SfqnSGajZfiPWekXjnJ%2B4zM8AUUUALikXCMRz5V04%3D&reserved=0

*A small flock of 3 and then 21 RBGU flew past the ridge. The most notable
songbird flyover today was an AMPI. We also had 8 PISI, 13 AGOL, and 11
HOFI flyover today.Predictions:Heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms, so no
count tomorrow.------------------------------Report submitted by Thomas
