Observation start time: 09:30:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 4.5 hours

Official Counter: Jerry McWilliams

Observers: Jennifer Ferrick, Jerry McWilliams, Julie Leonard,
Randy Donn

Visitors:
Jennifer Ferrick and Roger Donn assisted with the count for a short time,
while Julie Leonard was at the count assisting for about one hour.
Visitors included Ken, a new DCNR volunteer, and Carol Allen.

Weather:
Mostly clear with strong SSW wind and quite balmy

Raptor Observations:
A fairly steady, but light, flight of TVs at all heights, but very high
later in the day. Only a few hawks, but they were coming through very
high, so it is likely some were missed. Three local Bald Eagles.

Non-raptor Observations:
Highlight was a first for the count an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull
flying past rather low heading south overland. Other birds recorded were
Ring-billed and American Herring gull, Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, European
starling, Horned Lark 3, American Crow, Common Grackle, and Red-winged
Blackbird

Predictions:
Cloudy and continued warm in the AM then a 60% chance of rain in the PM
with continued SSW. Maybe a few more birds before the rain comes.
