Subject: Hi Lonesome on Sunday
It was a gorgeous morning at Hi Lonesome today, but the number of birds was
still pretty low. A few reliable Eastern Meadowlarks were there and
occasionally vocal, four Killdeer, two on each side
of the prairie, two American Kestrels, two Eastern Bluebirds, one Bald
Eagle and one Northern Harrier.
The burn areas are showing some shades of green.
I heard lots of frogs. I think they were Western Chorus Frogs and Cricket
Frogs.
Spring is so lovely!!!
