Looking back at mid-winter (7 Jan-14 Feb) waterfowl records at Carter Lake, there were several important records in 2013-2013 and 2013-2014. Since then, however, reports have been few. Has the lake been modified so that it is less attractive to wintering waterfowl? Were those two winters unusually mild? Have there been planned fish kills/renovations? Any info is welcome!
