Absolutely, Min!! Count Avalonia in! We have a new Preserve in Bozrah/Montville that reportedly has a nice population of them!! Was really nice to substantiate EWPWs on the pending Montville acquisition this past year!!

Hi All,

With spring on our doorstep I figured I would reach out to see whether anyone would be interested in joining an annual monitoring project.  We conduct 25 State woodcock routes across the landscape every year.  These routes serve as an index to woodcock populations in our two Focus Areas and in the State as a whole.  The commitment is one survey per year.  I currently have two unfilled surveys in Litchfield and Thomaston, and one in Chaplin.  We have been running these surveys for over 20 years now and they have proven to be a very good index.

If anyone is interested, please reach out.  <Min.huang...>

Thanks
