This morning a Fox Sparrow (very red), a yellow-bellied Sapsucker, a wave of 35+ juncos (they are singing!) and yesterday 5 robins. Also a male Hooded Merganser checked out my little stream as it does every March. The locals are singing and calling like they know there’s change a-coming as the days grow longer. And a chipmunk showed itself up through the foot of snow!
