Subject: [sbcobirding] banded Great-tailed Grackle, Lake Cachuma, 2026-02-24
Earlier this week, at Lake Cachuma's Hook'd Bar & Grill, I noticed a
Yellow/Yellow banded Great-tailed Grackle. I reached out to Corina Logan
and she confirmed *"Yes, this is one of the grackles that I banded and
worked with last year. He was over there at Lake Cachuma in November during
the storm, but before and after that he was along the waterfront in
downtown SB." *

To me, 30 km (20 miles) seems quite the distance for a grackle.
