Subject: Mergansers Levittown Bucks County |
A few days ago the creek behind our house finally thawed. I had seen
Mallards and Geese.
Today while clearing a path to refill bird feeders in the yard, I saw 2
Common Mergansers in the creek. I think this in a new bird on our yard list.
We have seen them locally on Magnolia Lake but never on the creek.
A little later we saw a pair of Hooded Mergansers.
I am very happy to see the waterfowl back on the creek.
