Round head; white face and neck; dark crown stripe continuing to nape; dark cheek patch that extended to the chin; bluish bill with dark nail."

Continuing bird found earlier around 5pm by Ron Beck. Unmistakable behavior, skimming to feed in the deeper water next to the oyster farms. Big wings, black on top and white underneath, and characteristic bill shape. Scoped briefly before it flew out of view. Pasadena overlook may be a better location."
