Hi all! I’m currently at the Albany Bulb and wanted to share that there’s a bunch of black skimmers here! I was over on the far west end of the bulb where there’s that rock corral thing that sticks out in the water you can walk along when the tide is low enough (I know there’s gotta be a word for it, but my mind is blanking). I saw a flock of at least 42, although I saw three more separately before that. They all flew in the direction of the mudflats, but so far I’ve only found one now that I’m back over there. Terrible cell phone pics but at least it’s proof haha. Up until now I’d only ever seen one, so I am very excited!
