2/11 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center. 10:15am-1PM. overcast, 38-42F. marsh frozen over except for far out. Observations are from within the building with a scope or from the porch. On marsh: 4 Canada Geese-flyovers, 5 American Black ducks, 4 Buffleheads, 2 Red breasted mergansers, 4 Gadwall, 2 Greater scaup, plus numerous gulls flying. On the grounds & feeders: 20 House sparrows, 1 Crow, 5 Song sparrows, 4 White throated sparrows, 6 Northern Cardinals , 1 Tufted titmouse and 1 very determined squirrel who made it over the baffles and feasting at the bird feeders.
