A hen Common Goldeneye was on the 9th hole pond (Visible from the road with a scope.) this afternoon about 3:10. There was also a hen Canvasback, Ring-neckked Ducks, 2 Bufflehead, a drake Cinnamon Teal, usual Ruddies and a single Northern Shoveler. At the 7th hole pond 71 shovelers, 7 Bufflehead, Green-winged Teal, a drake Lesser Scaup, Mallard, Ring-necks and a possible Mexican Duck.

Land birds continue to be rather scarce.
