A male, in the woodlot on the north side of Pintal Ave, between Redfish Ave and Speckled Ave. This is just east of the public boat launch.
Be aware that most Tropical Parulas reported in LA end up showing some evidence of hybridization. I don't see anything suggestive of that in this bird, but have only looked at back-of-camera photos. Will try to post photos to eBird this evening.
