Other birds and comments: ravens, buffleheads, hooded and common
mergansers, black ducks, ring necked ducks, redheads, and one possible
canvasback. Also one killdeer and at least three American Pipits. All
except the ravens were either on the Delaware river or in a retention pond
at the power plant. The Killdeer and pipits were working the ice along the
river edge. Horned larks in numerous areas.
*Eagles were a high count, but we were skunked on Kestrels for the first
time.*
