Subject: [CT Birds] FINAL REMINDER: Hartford Audubon Society mini-grant applications due FEBRUARY 15, 2026
Dear Friends,

*Please help us spread the word about this funding opportunity! THANK
YOU!!*

The Mini-Grant Program helps to fulfill HAS's mission by funding (up to
$2,000 per project) and supporting initiatives which directly benefit the
bird life within the State of Connecticut, and especially within Hartford
County. We hope to awaken a wider public interest in the enjoyment,
preservation, and protection of birds and their habitat.

All projects must demonstrate some benefit to birds and/or birding in
Connecticut. Past awards have included raptor enclosures, window strike
material demonstrations, relevant educational publications, and bird
habitat plantings.

Applications are due by *5:00pm on February 15, 2026.* The guidelines and
application form are available on the HAS website at Hartford Audubon
Society Mini-Grants Program
<https://www.hartfordaudubon.org/activities/hartford-audubon-society-mini-grants/>.
Applications should be mailed to <info...> with "Mini-Grant
application" in the subject line.

This year we are especially interested in supporting projects that would
benefit the City of Hartford. This is not a requirement, however.

Please email me if you have questions.
