Subject: Cedar Waxwings eating crabapples
I got a call from a friend, who’s neighbor had a flock of Cedar Waxwings in their crabapple tree.

So I quickly went over and was able to get some nice photos.

It’s always a thrill when you have a chance to view Cedar Waxwings up close - such pretty birds.

I’ll have to start watching for them in our yard. We have red cedar and crabapple trees, and american cranberry viburnum bushes, all currently with fruit on them.
