- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S300721105
- Comments: "Continuing. Not seen in yard where reported (not even really sure where that is). Spotted in yard of home on Olive St where we were seeing/hearing a sparrow flock at feeders. Saw its head, pink bill (base outlined with dark brown or black), dark crown, and dark throat (dark and also white and bordered by brown) and upper chest streaks. Appeared to be the same large sparrow in recent photos. I was getting camera ready when walkers came over, scaring away all the birds, and talked to us. Gave up after that as we had circled the block and walked down Olive where a sparrow flock first was heard/seen. We had followed the flock to a couple of yards before finally seeing the Harris’s. Poor timing with the walkers. Nice folks though. Can’t fault them for talking to us since it’s their neighborhood, which is super lovely."
