Harris's Sparrow (Zonotrichia querula) (1) CONFIRMED
- Reported Feb 07, 2026 09:15 by Kaaren Perry
- Morro Bay yard, San Luis Obispo, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-120.844846&<ll...>,-120.844846 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S298678905 - Media: 1 Photo
- Comments: "Large sparrow, visible - pink bill, buffy head, black smudging on white upper breast, chest and upper belly. Streaking on sides and flanks, white underside of tail feathers. First seen as it landed for a split second on the edge of the water feature before flying off. 6 minutes later it returned to perch on the over head wire before almost immediately flying away. I staked out the location for 2 hours hoping that it would return so I could get an additional photo but no luck. Last seen at this location on Dec 19, 2025"
