Subject: [sd-birds] again with the trus
this is crazy. after a day of driving back roads through codington, grant,
and roberts county and visiting exotic sites such as albee and marvin, not
many birds to report, although several mature bald eagles was encouraging.
anyroad, on the last leg of our journey home we came upon two trumpeter
swans in a cornfield in deuel county, east of goodwin. this caused me to
wonder if these are the same two trumpeters that i observed two days ago
near estelline? as the swan flies the distance between sites is about 21
miles.
