Hello everyone!
I was just finishing a pram ride with my son in our neighbourhood, and a
strange bird flew over us low to the ground, making a whistling noise with
its wings. I looked up and saw its profile. Seconds later, I realised in
disbelief that it was an AMERICAN WOODCOCK! I’ve heard them peenting
before, but this was the first time I’d ever seen one, and certainly not
where I expected to! Needless to say, a new neighbourhood bird!
