Subject: [CT Birds] Carolina wrens
We have a stand-alone garage, and for years have kept the window open a few
inches and the side door open. During the winter at least one CAWR roosts
in the garage and we usually have a pair nest in the bow of a canoe
suspended upside down from the rafters (speaks to how frequently we use
it!). Since the severe cold snap, I've only seen one CAWR at the feeders
taking advantage of suet and mealworms. S/he looks pretty beefy!
