Hello All,
Here are the results (such as they are) of the Raptor survey that we ran
yesterday.
Although we started the route at 10:00 am, we didn't find our first bird
until after 1:00 pm. Long day.

Miles on route - 84
Red-tails – 5 (All adult)
Bald Eagles – 2 (Both adult)
Other birds of note:
3 Ravens
10 Wild Turkey
Several hundred American Goldfinch feeding in an unharvested sunflower
field.
As expected, the count today was extremely low due to the excessive snow
depth and extremely low temperatures for an extended period. (Single digit
lows and below freezing highs for the past few weeks)
