Hi Everybody,
The San Bernardino Valley Audubon Society Trip to the San Jacinto Wildlife
Area and the Northern San Jacinto Valley is this Sunday, Feb 8 (
https://www.sbvas.net/field-trips). Once again we are offering an antidote
for the stupefying effects of the Super Bowl. Thinking a Fulvous
Whistling-Duck or two might help(maybe)? Wanting to start off the 2026 year
list with a fresh 100 plus species (maybe)? Got a thing for gulls and
shorebirds and birds of prey? If yes to any of the above, join us for a
full day of birding this Sunday. We will meet at the gates of the SJWA
headquarters at 7AM. To my knowledge since this an educational trip
sponsored by a non-profit environment group we are exempt from the CA Land
Pass requirement… but to be on the safe side you may want to obtain one.
Car pool if you can.
