Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] Scott's Oriole at Ramakrishna Monastery |
A beautiful male Scott's Oriole was singing and observed at to the top of a
eucalyptus tree at the Ramakrishna Monastery today: 33.67333, -117.60927.
It stayed in the euc for about 5 min, singing, then flew north to a leafless
tree, then down, and I lost it.
Note that the monastery is open to the public for only limited hours: Friday
and Saturday from 9 to 11:45 AM and Sun from 10 to 1:45 PM.
