Subject: A sign of spring?
Coldest day of year so far. Lots of snow.
I see the feeders are busy. Besides the local mockingbird, I see a
grackle.

I take a look and there's a flock of 8 grackles and.... wait a minute... a
male red- winged blackbird! Only one.

Now we can at least think about the arrival of spring!
