Ok lots of birds by the feeder today. Coldest day of year so far. I look over my feeders and besides the local mockingbird, I see a grackle. I take a look and its a flock of 8 grackles and.... wait a minute... a male red- winged blackbird! Only one.
Well now can at least think about the arrival of spring
